a midwives in darwin & two seasons doula collaboration
A week of recognising, honouring, learning & healing birth trauma for women and birth workers
Birth Trauma affects approximately 1 in 3 birthing women.
Trauma can manifest physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually - yet many women experience their trauma in isolation or are unsure how to begin their healing journey.
You are not alone.
Birth Trauma Awareness Week Darwin 2024 will bring together a series of free and low cost events specifically for women and birth workers who have experienced birth trauma personally or professionally.
These events are an inclusive, safe and confidential space to heal, share, connect and learn through your experience.
Events will be facilitated by various practitioners and trauma informed providers, all with a common goal to nurture and explore your well being through a trauma informed lens.
